TAKEOVER TOOLING

Somebody else builds the mold and runs it. Then, for whatever reason, the mold ends up in your shop. This is the industrial equivalent of ‘re-gifting’. SALABLE PARTS or PERFECT PARTS VOLUME III

Although I can’t promise it, this is the last of my rants on saleable parts.  You don’t need a Japanese buzz word, a black belt Ninja, zero defect, lean, 12 sigma part.  You only need to ship acceptable parts per the schedule you and the buyer agreed to.  The rest of this stuff is fluff and bother.  Unless you get suckered into one of the above mentioned faerie tale quests, it really isn’t that hard.  Continue Reading »
